Retirement and Death Gratuity to the State Govt CPS Employees - operation guidelines issued vide Memo.1149 Dt:06-07-2018
The Govt has issued orders extending the benefits of Retirement and Death Gratuity to the State Govt Employees who covered by CPS(NPS) and it was also ordered the operation guidelines shall be issued separately.
the DTA, Telangana, Hyderabad has proposed the guidelines for the smooth implementatiton of extension of Retirement and Death Gratuity to Govt Employees who covered by CPS(NPS).

The DDO shall forward the application form for retirement and Death Gratuity as prescribed in the GO.Ms.263 Dt:23-11-1998 along with service register of the employee concerned.
The Accountant General, shall be competent authority, to issue authorization for Death cum Retirement Gratuity.
the Audi officers fo the State Audit Dept in each District shall be competent authority to issue authorization for Death cum Retirement Gratuity in respect of Class-IV and other low paid employees i.e. police constables, Head constables, Excise constables 7 Forest Guard.
