The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of School Education & Literacy, Government of India, New Delhi decided under Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act 2014, the division / apportionment of the allotted quota of National Means-cum-Merit Scholarships (NMMS) of the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh State between newly created States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, as following
The Director of Government Examinations, Telangana, Hyderabad has requested the Government to issue standing orders to finalise the National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship scheme merit list for November 2014 Examination as recommended by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi, and also to re-distribute the category-wise scholarships as per the existing State Reservation Norms. The Director of Government Examinations has also informed that the G.O.Ms.No.3, Backward Classes Welfare (OP) Department, dated 14.08.2014 shall be implemented from the next examination.
After careful examination of the proposal, Government hereby permit the Director of Government Examinations, Telangana, Hyderabad to follow the guidelines of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, New Delhi and to adopt the existing State Reservation norms for declaration of the results for the examination conducted on November, 2014. The Director of Government Examinations shall follow the following reservation norms for the next examination to be conducted, while following all the other existing norms:
