All the DPOs of Telangana SSA in the state are informed that budget towards maintenance grants to the govt and Local body schools for the yar 2016-17 has already been released to the DPOs.

therefore the project officers are requested to released the grants to the schools of their respective district immediately and communicate the guidelines to the MEOs & Headmasters.
MaintenanceGrant (@ Rs. 5000/- to 10,000/-)
Provision: The schools having own buildings and functioning under govt, Localbody, Tribal Welfare, Social Welfare, TSRIES, TSSWRIES, TSTWRIES and Disabled welfare managements are eligible for mantenance Grants(Maintenance Grants shall not be released to aided schools).
the maintenance Grant shall be released @ Rs. 5,000/- to the schools having upto 3 classromms and @ Rs. 10,000/- to the schools having more than 3 classrooms. UP having I to VII classes are to be considered as two schools i.e. PS and UP.
