ALA Ananda Lahari Abhysana program in AP Schools

ALA - Ananda Lahari Abhyasana program is being implemented in 1573 Primary Schools at 2 schools per Mandal. It has created lot of excitement and interest among studetns, teachers, parents and community. Due to this program enrollments are also increasing in schools.

Ananda Lahari Abhyasana(ALA) program is further extended from 3rd class to 5th class during the academic year 2019-20.

AP Government has permitted to introduce ALA program in English Medium and Urdu medium schools. 

Criteria for implementation of ALA program in Schools:

1. It should be double teacher school(Single teacher schools are not eligible for ALA program)
2. Total strength/enrollment of the school should be not less than 40.
3. School should have sufficient class rooms (2 minimum) with good space to accommodate the Physical infrastructure to be provided.
4. Space should be there in schools for preserving the ALA kits.
