The Government of Telangana has issued admission notification of TGCET through which the students will be allowed to write and entrance test to get admissions in 5th class in various residential schools of Telangana State. The Government of Telangana is providing admissions in its residential school through an entrance test which is known as TGCET. Through TGCET admissions will be provided in class of 5th in various residential schools like TGSWRIES TGTWRIES MJPTBCWRIES TGRIES.
In order to get admission in 5th class in residential schools, students have to submit their applications through online in TGCET official website.

Eligibility to apply TGCET
Candidates who are studying in 4th class in the academic year 2023-2024 are only eligible to apply
OC and BC category students should be born between 01-09-2014 and 31-08-2016(9 Years should be completed but not exceeded 11 years)
SC and ST category students should be born between 01-09-2012 and 31-08-2016(9 Years should be completed but not exceeded 13 years)
SC converted christian/BC-C category candidates students should be born between 01-09-2012 and 31-08-2016
Annual Income Eligibility to apply TGCET
Annual income of the parents should be below Rs 1,50,000 in Rural areas
Annual income of the parents should be below Rs 2,00,000 in Urban areas
TGCET Entrance Test Pattern
Entrance Test Question Paper will be in the following pattern
1) Telugu - 20 Marks
2) English - 25 Marks
3) Mathematics - 25 Marks
4) Environmental Science - 20 Marks
5) Mental Ability - 10 Marks
OMR Sheet will be provided to mark/bubble answers.
Question paper will be provided in Telugu and English Medium.
