Patanotsavam Reading campaign and Revision Program in schools
Reading plays a crucial role in the life of a student and holds immense importance for their overall development and academic success. It is considered as a fundamental activity that contributes significantly to a student’s intellectual, linguistic and personal development. It not only enriches their academic performance but also enhances their overall understanding of the world, fosters creativity and cultivates empathy. Encouraging students to read widely and regularly is essential for their growth and success.
Considering this as most agenda Patanotsavam (Reading campaign) shall be taken up from 26th June 2023 to 31st July 2023 to ensure that children learn to read and read to learn, so that no child is left behind. The schools shall conduct Patanotsavam (Reading campaign) following the guidelines enclosed.
All the Head Masters of all schools in the state are instructed by the officials for the effective implementation of the Reading Campaign and Revision Programmes as per the guidelines provided by the state officials.
Program Name: Patanotsavam (Reading campaign)
Dates: 26th June 2023 to 31st July 2023
Aim of the program: To ensure that children learn to read and read to learn.
Classes to be involved in Reading Campaign: from Pre-Primary to 10th class.
Reading is the land of indifference. It is only when we can read that we can weave. Reading improves the knowledge of the students. Reading improves Creative ideology.
Library Week shall be celebrated from 10-07-2023 to 15-07-2023.
Students shall make cutting and clippings from the news papers and magazines should be pasted on the card.
Objectives of the Program:
Students should read fluently.
Making Reading is a habit to students.
