TS TET Procedure of Online Exam Computer Based Test
Procedure of conduct of Computer Based Test (CBT) of TS TET-2024 is as follows.
Candidates are advised to go through the following instructions carefully before going for the Examination.
The candidates should adhere to the instructions given on the Hall Ticket. Further,
The candidate must show, on demand, the Hall Ticket for admission in the examination room / hall. A candidate who does not possess the Hall Ticket issued by the TS TET Office shall not be permitted for the examination under any circumstances by the Test Centre In charge.
Total duration of examination is 150 minutes (2½ hours) The timer is provided on the top right corner of the screen. After commencement of the examination, the remaining time for the examination is shown on top right corner of the screen.
Examination will be over once the countdown timer reaches zero.
Candidate shall not under any circumstances be permitted to the examination hall after the commencement of the examination.
Subjects in the examination are displayed on the top bar of the screen. Questions in a subject can be viewed by clicking on the section name. The section that candidate is currently viewing is highlighted.
Candidate can shuffle among subjects and questions any time during the examination as per her / his convenience.
The Question Palette displayed on the right side of screen will show the status of each question
The Marked for Review status for a question simply indicates that you would like to look at that question again. If a question is answered and Marked for Review, your answer for that question will be considered in the evaluation.
Click on the ">" arrow button to maximize the question window. To view the question palette again, you can click on "<" which appears on the right side of the question window.
How to answer a question in TS TET Online Exam Computer Based Test
Click on the question number in the Question Palette at the right of your screen to go to that numbered question directly.
Read the question and the Four distractors given and click on the button against the distractor you think is the correct answer for the question.
Click on Save & Next to save your answer for the current question and then go to the next question.
In case you want to review your question later, click on Mark for Review & Next to save your answer for the current question, mark it for review, and then go to the next question.
If a question is answered and Marked for Review, the answer for that question will be considered in the evaluation even if the candidate could not Review the question for any reason.
To save your answer, click on the Save & Next button.
To change your answer to a question that has already been answered, first select that question for answering then follow the same steps as above.
Carrying of Calculators, Mathematical / Log Tables, Pagers, Cell Phones, Wristwatches or any other Electronic Gadgets and personal belongings into the examination hall is strictly prohibited. In case, the candidate carries any personal belongings, he / she has to keep them outside the examination hall at candidate’s own risk. The authorities of the test centre will not be held responsible for any loss or damage of such items.
No candidate, without the special permission of the Centre In-charge or the Invigilator concerned, will leave her / his seat or Examination Room until the full duration of the paper is over.
Smoking in the Examination Hall / Room is strictly prohibited.
Tea, coffee, cold drinks or snacks are not allowed to be taken into the examination rooms during examination hours.
The test will start exactly at the time mentioned in the Hall ticket.
Unfair Means: Candidates shall maintain perfect silence and attend to their Question Paper only. Any conversation or gesticulation or disturbance in the Examination Room/ Hall shall be deemed as misbehavior. If a candidate is found using unfair means or impersonating, her/his candidature shall be cancelled and he/she will be liable to be debarred for taking examination either permanently or for a specified period according to the nature of offence. If any candidate is in possession of any item/s that are prohibited in the examination hall, her/his candidature for current examination will be cancelled and also liable to be debarred for future examination(s).
Further TS TET is covered by ACT No.25 of 1997 of Prohibition of Malpractices in Examinations. If any candidate or any person commits any offence in Exam/Test, she/he will be liable for severe action including criminal proceedings.
The candidates must sign on the Attendance Sheet at the appropriate place.
Rough Work for TS TET Online Exam:
Blank (White) papers will be provided for rough work in the examination hall. Candidates have to handover the rough sheets to the invigilator concerned after the end of the examination.
