TS POLYCET Notification for
admission in to 3 year Polytechnic Courses (Diploma Courses) is released by State
Board of Technical Education and Training (TSBTE). Candidates who desire to
join Polytechnic courses are requested to fill the online applications made
available in the official website of Telangana State Board of Technical
Education and Training.
The candidates have make them
self ready will all the relevant certificates related to the minimum
qualification and they should satisfy the eligibility criteria mentioned in the
notification.
The State Board of Technical
Education and Training has made an arrangement to facilitate the online application
submission in the official website of Telangana State Board of Technical
Education and Training. Candidate have to apply online to appear the TS POLYCET
Entrance Test by paying the fees mentioned by the conducting authorities. They
have to keep all certificates and details of online application ready before
login to the online website.
Before filling the online
applications, candidates have to check their eligibility criteria whether they
are satisfying the eligibility qualification criteria for applying Polytechnic Courses.

Rs 250/- For SC/ST Candidates
Rs 400/- For Others
The candidates who are appearing
for SSC examination shall also be eligible to appear for TS POLYCET
PATTERN AND SYLLABUS FOR TS POLYCET EXAMINATION
a) The examination (POLYCET) will
be of 2 Hrs 30 Minutes duration consisting of only one paper as per the
syllabus in the subjects of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry & Biology of X
Class (S.S.C.) Examination held in March/April-2020 as prescribed by the Board
of Secondary Education, Telangana State.
b) The POLYCET Examination will
be conducted for 150 marks in Mathematics (60 marks) + Physics (30 Marks) +
Chemistry (30 Marks) +Biology (30 Marks).
c) The Duration of Examination is
2 ½ hours i.e, 11:00 AM to 01:30PM.
d) The candidates who are willing
to take admission into Agricultural Diploma Courses offered by PJTSAU attempt
Biology Questions also in addition to Maths, Physics and Chemistry.
e) Attempting the Biology
questions is optional for candidates desirous of taking Admission into Diploma
courses in engineering & Non Engineering subjects in Polytechnics of
Technical Education.
f) The Question Paper Pattern
will be as follows

g) Two separate Ranks will be
generated for each candidate through POLYCET for Admissions into Polytechnics
and Admissions into Agricultural Diplomas as per the following criteria:
(i) For Admission into
Polytechnics the ranking will be based on the marks scored in Maths (60 marks)
+ Physics (30 Marks) + Chemistry (30 Marks) put together for maximum marks of
120.
(ii) For Admission into
Agricultural Polytechnics the ranking will be based on the marks scored in
Maths (60/2=30 Marks) + Physics (30 Marks) + Chemistry (30 Marks) + Biology
(30) Marks put together for maximum marks of 120.
HOW TO APPLY for TS POLYCET
For convenience of the
candidate, ONLINE filling of application for POLYCET-2020 is facilitated by the
State Board of Technical Education and Training, TS. Hyderabad at
www.polycetts.nic.in
a) First fill the 10th
Class Hall ticket No., Year of pass and Date of Birth.
b) Fill your name as per
school records with one letter for each box. Leave a gap between
parts of your name.
c) Fill your father’s
name
d) Fill in your date of
birth in DD MM YYYY [Date /Month/Year] format.
e) Fill in your address
details (House number, Village/street, Mandal /town/city, District,
PIN code, Mobile number)
for correspondence
f) Fill in the place
where you would like to appear for examination. Refer the table of examination/
help line centers
g) Enter the area code
to which you are local to Telangana (Refer Annexure-II)
h) Enter your
reservation category (BC/SC/ST)
i) Enter your special
category, if any (CAP/SP/PH/NCC).
j) Fill in minority
community details (other than Hindu) as entered in your school records
k) Fill in your
willingness to appear the examination in Urdu medium. Examination in Urdu
medium will be conducted only at Hyderabad center.
l) Fill in the Aadhaar
UID Number.
m) Sign the declaration
with regard to your physical fitness to pursue the Polytechnic Courses.
n) Apply online at
www.polycetts.nic.in with online payment option (or) TS online with a cash
payment of Rs. 400/- For SC/ST Candidates Rs. 250/-.
Rejection of candidature
The applicant’s
candidature is liable for rejection on the following grounds:
a) The application forms
are incomplete including the signature of candidate and parent / guardian and
photograph of the candidate.
b) The candidate
furnishes false or incorrect information.
c) The candidate fails
to satisfy the conditions of eligibility.
d) In case the
application is rejected, no correspondence will be entertained with the
candidate nor fee paid will be refunded.
