TS DEECET (TTC Course/TS DIETCET) Entrance Test Notification Details and dates and Schedule for admission in TTC Course
TTC Application for TTC Course
(Teacher Training) for admission in to 2 years in DIET colleges which is known
as TS DIET. This TTC Course Entrance Test is well known as DEECET in Telangana.
Hence it can be called as TS DEECET.
TTC course is designed for those
who are intended to become teacher. The candidate who wants to become teacher,
they are requested to apply for TTC Course through TS DEECET Application form
which will be made available in TS DEECET official website.
In Telangana the TS DEECET
Notification will be issued by the Department of School Education. This Notification
generally issued in the month of March every year.
Candidates who desire to TTC
course (DIET) are requested to fill the online applications made available in
the official website of Telangana School Education Department.
The School Education Department
has released the notification for TS DEECET and online applications are invited
from the eligible candidates to appear the TS DEECET for admission in to (DED
course) D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education (TTC Course)) which will be commenced as 2
years diploma course.
Eligibility to take admission in to DED course (D.El.Ed)(TTC Course) through TS DEECET:
Candidate should be of Indian
Nationality.
The candidates should satisfy the
Local / Non Local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana Educational
Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order, 1974 as amended from time to
time.
Candidates should have secured a
rank in TS DEECET- 2020 and should satisfy the educational qualifications as
shown at 5 (D) below for allotment of Seats in Government DIETs and Category
‘A’ and ‘B’ seats in Private Elementary Teacher Education Institutions. For
obtaining a rank, candidate belonging to “OC” and “BC” Communities shall secure
35% marks in TS DEECET. For Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes there shall
be no minimum qualifying marks for allotment of seats reserved under the
respective categories. That is to say, candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes
and Scheduled Tribes Communities should secure 35% of marks for consideration
against seats under OC/ NCC / Defense Personnel or their children and spouses /
Sports category.
Educational Qualifications to take admission in to DED course (D.El.Ed)(TTC Course) through TS DEECET
(1).The candidate should have
passed or appeared for the Intermediate Examination (Qualifying Exam) or its
equivalent as decided by the DEECET Committee for appearing at the DEECET.
However, she / he should have passed the qualifying examination by the time of
admission.
(2).The candidates should have
secured 50% of marks in aggregate in the Qualifying Examination for appearing
at the DEECET. The minimum percentage of marks in the case of Scheduled Castes
and Scheduled Tribes and Physically Challenged candidates shall however be 45%.
As per G.O.Ms.No 10 Education dated 12.04.2017 the candidates who passed
Intermediate examination with vocational course(s) are not eligible .However in
view of the orders of the Honorable High Court of Telangana in IA No.1 of 2019
in WP.No.6482/2019 the candidate who have passed Intermediate with vocational
course(s) shall be allowed to sit in the DEECET provisionally , but they cannot
claim any equity in their favour. Moreover the result of examination of such
candidates shall be subject to the decision of the Honorable High Court in
WP.No.6482/2019.
(3).Candidates should have
completed 17 years of age as on 1st September of the year of admission. There
shall be no upper age limit for admission into D.El.Ed/D.P.S.E Program.
As per the details given in the
notification the Candidates who planned to appear TS DEECET are instructed to
apply for TS DEECET online from 13th March 2020 as the online
registration will start from 13th March 2020.
The Last date for applying online
for TS DEECET Entrance Test without late fee is further extended up to 15-05-2020.
Due to COVID-19 Pandemic the
Government of Telangana i.e. Telangana State Council for Higher Education is
announced that the last date for online apply is extended up to 15th
May 2020.
Fee details for appearing TS DEECET Entrance test is prescribed by the convener as follows

TS DEECET Exam Dates:
At the time of notification the
examination is scheduled to be conducted on 22-05-2020. But Due to the COVID-19
Pandemic the date of examination may change as per the final decision of the
Government of Telangana, School Education Department.
