Baseline Test Question Papers Download
State
council for Educational Research and Training which is known as SCERT has
issued instructions for implementation of Learning Improvement Program (LIP)
for the classes from 6th to 9th during the present
academic year.
As a part
of Learning Improvement Program (LIP) teachers have to conduct a base line test
in physical mode in all Government, Local Body, Telangana Model Schools,
Telangana Residential Educational Institutions and Kasturba Gandhi Balika
Vidyalayas.
The
Director of SCERT has issued instructions to the all the District Educational
Officers and Mandal Educational Officers and Head Masters to take necessary
steps to conduct the base line test to the students from 6th class
to 9th class in all above mentioned schools.
The
Director of SCERT has issued the soft copies of the base line test question
papers along with the guidelines for evaluation of the test answer scripts.
The
teachers are instructed to conduct the Base Line Test as per the schedule and
guidelines of SCERT and submit the results of the Base Line Test in online.

A Separate
proforma is available to record the results of the Base Line Test. Teachers
have to record the results of the Base Line Test and enter the same in online
in Telangana Education App as per the instructions issued by the Director of
SCERT.

Timeline
for Conducting of Baseline, Midline and Endline Tests
As part of
the LIP programme, tests should be conducted three times in an academic year:
Baseline Test, Midline Test, and Endline Test.
Baseline
Test should be conducted between 7th to 11th July 2026. The results must be
uploaded in the Telangana School Education App by 15-07-2026.
Midline
Test should be conducted between 25th to 30th November 2026. The results must
be uploaded in the Telangana School Education App by 15-12-2026.
Endline
Test should be conducted between 5th to 7th March 2027. The results must be
uploaded in the Telangana School Education App by 30-03-2027.
These tests
should be conducted separately and independently of Formative Assessments
Precautions to be taken while conducting Baseline Test
Students
must be intimated well in advance regarding this test
Printed
Question Paper should be supplied to the students
Do not allow
the students to copy from other students
Student
should not be in fear of getting fewer marks
Students should
be able to perform and complete the test with their own knowledge
After
evaluation students must know their performance in Baseline Test
Students
must be able to understand their position after the Baseline Test and they
should be able to plan to enhance their learning activity
