BRAOU inservice BEd open and Distance Mode
Eligibility to attend BRAOU BEd Entrance Test
1. The
candidate should be an Indian citizen.
2.
Candidates should have passed with at least 50% of marks either B.A./
B.Sc./B.Com./ B.C.A./B.Sc. (Home Science)/ BBM/BBA/ B.E/B.Tech.
3. The
candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC/PWD should have secured a minimum of 40% marks
in the qualifying examination.
4. The
students who wish to take admission in B.Ed. with B.E/B.Tech must have
Science/Mathematics as one of the subjects.
5. B.C.A.
candidates must pass Intermediate with concern subjects to opt the Methodology.
6. The
candidate do not have required percentage of marks in Undergraduate, the marks
secured in Post-Graduation will be considered (If he/she studied relevant
subject at PG)
7. The
following conditions must fulfill to get admission into B.Ed. (ODL):
(i) Trained
in-service teachers in elementary education.
(ii)
Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognized teacher education program
through face-to face mode (Regular mode) only.
8. The
reservations for SC/ST/BC/PWD categories are as per rules in vogue.
9. EWS
quota seats will allotted to the eligible candidates on production of the
relevant certificates/documents by competent Authority).
10. PH,
Sports, NCC and CAP quota seats will be allotted to the eligible candidates on
production of the relevant certificates/documents.
11.
Candidate should have completed 21 years as on 1st July 2026. There shall be no
upper age limit.

1)
SSC/Equivalent/Birth Certificate for date of birth proof.
2)
Degree/PG Marks Memos and Provisional /Convocation certificates.
3) The
following two conditions must fulfill to get admission into B.Ed. (ODL):
(i) Trained
in-service teachers in elementary education.
(ii)
Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognized teacher education program

4) Medical
Board Certificate (for PH candidates issued by Competent Authority)
5) Latest
Passport size Photo with Signature (JPEG format and less than 60 KB).
6) Caste
certificate issued by Competent Authority (latest)

certificate (Issued by MEO / Dy. E. O)(Latest)
8) EWS
Certificate (If Eligible)
9) Special
category certificates- Sports, NCC and CAP
Fees for BRAOU BEd Entrance Test
Registration
fee Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) and S.C./S.T/PWD candidate may pay
Rs. 750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred and fifty only) through online.
Please
obtain receipt for the payment of the fee.
Date of Entrance Test for admission in to BEd in Ambedkar
Entrance
Test will be held on 02-08-2026 from 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM at selected Centers.
The University reserves the right to allot candidates to any other Centre(s)
other than their choice in unavoidable circumstances.
Duration of the BRAOU BEd (Distance Mode)
Minimum
period to complete the program is 2 Academic years.
Maximum
period to complete the program is 4 Academic years.
Part-I:
General English Comprehension 25 Questions 25 Marks
1) Reading
Comprehension.
2)
Correction of Sentences, Articles, Prepositions, Tenses, Spelling.
3)
Vocabulary, Synonyms, Antonyms.
4)
Transformation of Sentences-Simple, Compound and Complex; Voices; Direct Speech
and Indirect Speech.
Part-II:
Proficiency in Telugu 25 Questions 25 Mark
Part-III:
General Mental Ability 50 Questions 50 Marks
